NEW and IMPROVED, twice the concentration – Postbiotic Gut Support is now the most concentrated form of Diamond V (now called TruEquine). The amount recommended to be fed has been halved. This means 2 kg Postbiotic Gut Support will last twice the time compared to the previous version.
Postbiotic Gut Support contains a proprietary strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast that can support:
- Immune function by reducing systemic inflammation and antioxidant status
- Digestive health by promoting a health balance of bacteria in the lower gastrointestinal tract
- Gut morphology
Postbiotic Gut Support is a postbiotic. As a postbiotic, it contains the beneficial metabolites or substances released from the fermentation of fibre by gut bacteria. These support digestive and immune function, as well as nurture the gut microbiome and help it flourish. A more robust and thriving gut microbial community is able to feed on and more fully digest ration feedstuffs. As a result, more nutrients, such as carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, and minerals become available.

Animal consumption only.
According to the manufacturer, TruEquine C Ultra (was known as Diamond V XPC Ultra):
Feeding rate = 23 mg/kg bodyweight (was 46 mg/kg bodyweight) so effectively halved.
Multiply your horse’s bodyweight BW x 0.023 to get the amount in grams per day.
For example:
200 kg BW: 4.6 g/day
350 kg BW: ~8 mg/day
400 kg BW: ~9 g/day
450 kg BW: ~10.3 g/day
500 kg BW: 11.5 g/day
600 kg BW: ~14 g/day (was 28 grams)
Safe for all horses, including foals, mares and stallions.
1 metric volume tablespoon measure (20 ml) contains approximately 14 grams Postbiotic Gut Support.
This will depend on the density, how tightly packed in the spoon.
Mix with feed. Ideally divide amount between meals if feeding more than once per day.

My old horse is constantly itchy, I’ve washed him in everything possible and it’s not a skin problem. I thought it might be gut health related so started him on Diamond V XPC and he has improved dramatically! His coat is shiny again for the first time in years and he’s putting on weight. Still a little itchy but nothing like before when he was miserable all day long. Thanks Diamond V and Balanced Equine, you have given a old horse a new lease on life.
